Scholarship Programme

Programme Overview

The IPMC University College Scholarship Program aims to support and recognize “needy but brilliant” students who demonstrate excellence in academics, leadership, and community engagement. This program will offer three tiers of tuition discounts — 30%, 50%, and 70% — to ensure that deserving students are financially supported to continue their studies.

Scholarship Tiers & Eligibility Criter

Scholarship Programme

30% Scholarship (Merit-Based) L-3

Eligibility Criteria:

✓ Minimum GPA of 3.0 or above (on a 4.0 scale).
✓ No major disciplinary infractions in the past year.
✓ Consistent academic performance without failing any courses in the previous academic year.

Scholarship Programme

50% Scholarship (Merit-Based + Leadership & Service) L4 -L5

Eligibility Criteria:

✓ Minimum GPA of 3.5 or above.
✓ Demonstrated leadership in student organizations, academic clubs, or community service activities.
✓ Must be a current student enrolled at IPMC University College for at least one academic year
✓ Strong involvement in university activities, showing initiative and dedication.
✓ No major disciplinary infractions.

Scholarship Programme

70% Scholarship (Need-Based + Academic Excellence) L4 – L5

Eligibility Criteria:

✓Minimum GPA of 3.7 or above.
✓Must have completed at least 6 months in any study program at IPMC.
✓Active participation in university or community-based activities is highly encouraged.
✓Preference will be given to students from underrepresented or economically disadvantaged backgrounds or persons with disability (PWD).

Application Process

a). Submission Requirements

Fill up the application form at the end of this webpage.

b). Submission Deadlines

Scholarship applications will be accepted Twice a year
Applications submitted by April 30th will have decisions made by June 30th.
Applications submitted by October 30th will have decisions made by December 31st.

Selection Process

a). Review Panel

The committee will be responsible for reviewing applications, ensuring eligibility, and selecting recipients based on established criteria

b). Criteria Evaluation

For merit-based scholarships (30%, 50%), applicants will be evaluated based on their GPA, leadership activities, and overall contributions to the university community.
For the need-based scholarship (70%), applicants will be evaluated based on academic excellence and financial need, with priority given to students facing significant financial challenges.

c). Transparency and Fairness

The committee will follow a standardized rubric to assess each application
All applicants will be informed of the decision via email, and results will also be published on the university’s website.
A personal visit to the family may be undertaken
